Vitiello, who rose to fame on Season Nine of MAFS in 2022, launched Mos x Daily in 2023 with the aim of offering jars of sea moss, marketed as a health supplement designed to support gut health.
NSW Fair Trading recently issued a public warning regarding Mos x Daily. The alert follows months of consumer complaints, with many accusing the business of “scamming” customers after they allegedly paid for products that were never delivered.
On March 1, 2025, NSW Fair Trading warned consumers “not to deal” with Mos X Daily after it “received 45 complaints” regarding the business since January 2024.
According to the government body, the complaints were in regards to pre-paid online orders, and cited concerns with:
- Substantial delays in receiving products ordered
- Products not supplied
- Poor or out-of-date products
- The business ceases communication when consumers raise their concerns.
NSW Fair Trading has also listed concerns with Mos X Daily’s claim it donates a portion of each sale to the One Dollar One Dream charity, stating the brand “has not been substantiated that the funds have been transferred from the business to the charity.”
“NSW Fair Trading is concerned that consumers that order from Mos X Daily may be at financial loss,” NSW Fair Trading wrote.
According to Vitiello the information in the NSW Fair Trading warning was nothing new and that the issues raised in the statement were the same ones he addressed on TikTok in December 2024.
The business fast became embroiled in controversy, with multiple customers reporting they never received the goods they ordered, despite having paid for them.
Yesterday, Melissa Curtis shared her latest expereince and concerns on social media stating that she now has a new response.

The sea moss, priced at $72 per jar, has garnered attention for its purported health benefits. Yet, the company’s claimed shipping delays have turned into a nightmare for many customers, many of whom have been waiting for months without any resolution to the current day.
Gabrielle, another such customer, spoke out about her experience. “I ordered my sea moss back in October 2024, but I never received my order. I paid for it, and I received no updates about delays or any issues,” she said.
Watt added that she only received a single email from the company in which they promised the product would ship “next week,” but nearly six months later, there has been no delivery and no refund.
“I emailed them several times, but I’ve received no responses since then. It’s frustrating,” Gabrielle continued. “I don’t know of anyone who has received an order in the last six months.”
Christie Monger, another frustrated customer, shared a similar experience with the Werribee News. She placed an order on October 22, 2024, and was told her product would arrive by early November. However, by December and January, the delivery had still not arrived, and she received a series of vague responses.
“On February 10, 2025, I was told they were sending out orders and would catch up with the backlog within two weeks,” she said. “But as of April 1, 2025, they told me they couldn’t offer a refund because my order was supposedly being sent that month — and yet, nothing has arrived.”
Customers have begun to voice concerns on social media, with some calling the business a “scam,” accusing Vitiello of taking money without delivering the product. The situation has escalated, with some questioning the legitimacy of the company.
Vitiello, in response to the mounting complaints, maintains that the delays are due to shipping and packaging issues.
Kelly Palmer says she ordered
Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV, he explained that the company has been grappling with significant delays caused by Australia Post, which he claims is causing parcels to arrive up to a month late, both domestically and internationally.
The sea moss, Vitiello noted, has a short shelf life of just 30 days, making it difficult to deliver once the products are delayed.
“We’ve been doing everything we can to rectify the situation,” Vitiello stated, expressing regret over the delays.
In May 2024, he promised to make it right. He said the business has been working on improving its shipping and packaging processes to avoid further issues.
Despite Vitiello’s reassurances, customers remain unsatisfied, with many still waiting for their orders or refunds. The company has temporarily paused orders while it seeks to change its shipping partners and address the packaging issues that have led to the widespread delays.
As of now, no concrete timeline has been given for when customers can expect to receive their orders, leaving many feeling abandoned and frustrated.
With some still holding out hope for resolution, others are questioning whether Mos x Daily will be able to regain customer trust after such a prolonged series of problems. As the delays continue, it remains to be seen whether this is enough to repair the damage or pending orders will be delivered.
