Join a Parks Victoria volunteer-led walk through the Rose and Formal Gardens at Werribee Park

Join a volunteer-led walk through the beautiful rose and formal gardens at Werribee Park, led by Parks Victoria volunteers. Enjoy the stunning surroundings of Werribee Park, mingle with other walkers, and learn some interesting historical facts about Werribee Park.

You can join this walk as a once-off to explore somewhere new or include it as a regular part of your wellbeing or fitness routine.

The walk is pram and wheelchair accessible and follows flat even ground. There is parking at the Main visitor carpark (enter via gate 2 K Rd, Werribee South). We advise that you bring a water bottle and wear closed comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for all weather conditions.

This walk through the park takes about 1.5 hours and covers up to 2.8 km. Please meet at the entrance to the State Rose Garden.

Please note the following:

  • Attendees for the Werribee Rose Garden Walk are required to show their vaccination certificates upon arrival in order to participate.
  • Bookings are essential.
  • This event may be cancelled at the last minute due to extreme weather conditions.
  • You will be emailed if the event is cancelled.
  • In the event that your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket so our guide is aware and does not wait for you to arrive.

Please note that all Parks Victoria activities are managed in alignment with the Victorian Governments current COVID Safe Settings directions and to promote the safety of both volunteers and visitors the Park Walks program does require visitors to be fully vaccinated (i.e. two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, or has a valid medical exemption).

Vaccination requirements apply to everyone aged 18 years or over, unless they have a valid medical exemption from an authorised medical practitioner.
