Wyndham Mayor Cr Peter Maynard called on families to celebrate Easter in the Werribee City Centre, where there will be daily visits from the Easter Bunny at Station Place between 11am-1pm from Monday 11 April, to Thursday 14 April.

“Wyndham will come to life with a range of activities and events for children and adults alike,” Cr Maynard said.

“A special visit from our furry friend the Easter Bunny will delight and excite children.”

“Come by, receive a chocolate easter egg and get a selfie with the Easter Bunny while supporting local businesses.”

Participating stores will also have a free Easter gift with every purchase. Gifts on offer include a free set of bunny ears or a Bilby plaster mould painting set. For participating stores check our website.

A colouring competition featuring two Bilby artworks is being run for our younger residents.

Stephanie Mancuso, a local artist, illustrated both Bilbys for this special competition and she will also judge the winning works.

If you too are looking for a fun and popular children’s show, You are a Donut, will perform at the Wyndham Cultural Center on Friday 22nd April at 10am and 1pm

You are a Donut is a fun show with famous children’s artist David Lampard and PJ Oaten. This fabulous and fun show is unique and will make the family laugh together, with each digestive destination inspiring a new “act”.

“Pop into participating stores to get your colouring sheet entry and let’s get the children colouring,” Cr Maynard said. There are fantastic prizes from local businesses to be won.

Also invite the kids to the Green Explorer Book Launch at Wyndham Park on Wednesday April 13th for a range of fun activities. Coinciding with Play Week in Nature, the launch will include a variety of themed activities for children aged 4 to 10.

For adults, come and relax at the Piano Bar! Join us on Good Friday (April 15th), at 2pm for a great day of entertainment with a selection of our fabulous Piano Bar artists coming together for a very special cause: raising money for the Good Friday Appeal.

“For the big kids, make the most of the Easter long weekend and come along to the Werribee City Centre and join the fun at the pop up Piano Bar,” Cr Maynard said.
