Wyndham Opens 2026 Youth Survey, Calling on 12–25s to Shape Local Programs

Wyndham is inviting residents aged 12 to 25 to complete its biennial youth survey, sharing feedback on safety, mental health and everyday life. Responses are open until 30 June 2026 and will help guide local youth programs and activities across the city.

Wyndham City Council is inviting residents aged 12 to 25 to take part in its biennial youth survey, seeking fresh feedback on issues ranging from safety and mental health to education, work and social life across the fast-growing city.

Wyndham, widely regarded as one of Australia’s youngest local government areas, has a rapidly expanding population of children, teenagers and young adults—making youth planning a central pressure point for services, facilities and community programs.

The survey aims to capture what life looks like for young people right now: what’s working, what’s missing, and what challenges they’re facing as the area continues to grow.

Responses are used to build a clearer snapshot of local priorities and to identify gaps in support, activities and opportunities across different suburbs and age groups.

Council says the findings help guide the youth-focused programs delivered over the next two years, including wellbeing initiatives, school holiday activities, volunteering opportunities and youth events.

Previous surveys have informed a range of local activities such as school-based mental health events, youth-led projects, creative programs and regular social events.

The survey is open until 30 June 2026, with respondents able to enter a prize draw for a PlayStation 5 or a Nike voucher. More information and the survey link are available via The Loop.
