Stockland Point Cook Welcomes Celebrity Chef, Miguel Maestre For Family Foodie Weekend

Celebrity chef and Stockland Food Ambassador, Miguel Maestre, will be coming to Stockland  Point Cook for Family Foodie Weekend, with a live cooking masterclass to showcase his  signature Spanish dishes.  

Held across the Father’s Day weekend, 3 and 4 September, Family Foodie Weekend will host  a series of exciting and enticing food events for families to enjoy.  

Alongside a masterclass with Miguel Maestre, there will be live cooking demonstrations from  Kesari Indian Restaurant, as well as the Wyndham Women’s Support Group who will be recreating a delicious African Ethiopian dish. 

Customers will also have the opportunity to attend various food workshops where they can  learn how to make their own kimchi, dumplings, and sourdough. Children can get creative in  the kitchen too, with cupcake, cookie and pizza decorating workshops. 

Stockland Point Cook Centre Manager, Frank Pizi said: “We are thrilled with the talented line up we have for our Family Foodie Weekend; it means there is something for everyone to  enjoy. 

“It’s great to be joined by our food ambassador, Miguel Maestre, and we know our customers  will look forward to seeing his cooking expertise come to life in his masterclass.  

“We encourage families in our community to come together and visit Point Cook on Father’s  Day and treat dad to a fun and food-filled weekend,” Mr. Pizi said. 

Miguel Maestre said: “It’s so exciting to be a part of Stockland’s Family Foodie Weekend, I’m  looking forward to seeing the community come together and connect over food and the joy that  cooking brings.  

“I hope to inspire families to make the most of Australia’s fresh produce and create a special  meal for dad this Father’s Day,” Miguel Maestre said.
