To begin from Saturday, April 9, RATs will be available at current testing sites and through Disability Liaison Officers.
Two million RATs will be made available to all NDIS participants and disability support pensioners in the next three months
Eligible disability support pensioners and NDIS participants aged over 16 can collect up to 20 rapid antigen tests per visit
Premier Daniel Andrews said: “This virus doesn’t discriminate, but its effects are felt more harshly by the most vulnerable among us – including Victorians living with disability.”
“We’re providing millions of free Rapid Antigen Tests to those who need it most, helping keep Victorians with disability safe as we head into winter.”
Participants are required to provide evidence of eligibility, such as a NDIS statement, will be required with the option to appoint a carer or guardian to collect your RATs if you’re eligible but can’t get them yourself
From 24 January 2022, those with concession card could begin to collect up to 10 free RATs over a 3 month period with a maximum of 5 in a month.
